JAKE'S PORTFOLIO

My project for Science is the Lab Safety Poster project. This project took place in Science and Stem Foundations. We had to create a poster that showed the lab safety rule that we chose and had to be collage and have good craftsmanship.For this project we had to learn the lab safety rules and had to learn what collage was. Then we had to pick a lab safety rule and use only paper and glue to make a poster. The poster had to have good craftsman ship too.

 

A challenge that I ran into while making my poster is that on my draft I had so many small details that it would be too hard to make by the deadline out of paper like the desk pencils and books and also the details would take away the meaning of the poster. To overcome this challenge I had to take out the details that were not necessary and just keep it simple.

 

because I had to keep coming up with a way to make my poster had to many small details that were hard to make like the pencils and books on the front of the desk and the small flasks and persistenceMy first artifact is the first draft of my poster and I think I grew in simple because I I just never gave up o matter how hard it was. Persistence is never giving up no matter how difficult something is.

 

My second artifact is my final draft. I think I grew in creativity because I had to be creative in coming up with ideas on how to show my rule, like mixing the bad chemicals with an X next to it. Creativity is thinking outside the box and doing stuff no one else would think of.
