The 5 Qualities Introduction STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We have a very different learning style at STEM. You work with a lot of partners on activities and projects. STEM is not just teaching us the basic stuff that other schools teach you but it is also teaching us how to live and survive in the real world. To help get us ready for the real world our school uses the 5 qualities. The 5 qualities are collaboration, creativity, inquiry, persistence, and communication. Our school focuses on these qualities because you need to know how to do each of these as a student and as a business partner.
